When lean bulking you should keep an eye for balance. Too much protein will be egested and you won’t be able to have space for carbohydrates and fats. Carbohydrates provide valuable energy and support mental function as well as dietary fats. If we were to go for a cut then we would need to consume more protein (1g - of protein per lb of bodyweight) because since we put ourselves in a caloric deficit, we are prone to a decrease in muscle mass because the body might use protein to fuel to body for energy and metabolic purposes but for lean bulking it’s another story. You are lean bulking so you have to be in a caloric surplus putting yourself lots of room for carbohydrates and fats as sources for energy instead of protein. You will only require a decent amount of protin just enough for basic protein synthesis, any more than that is not valuable for a lean bulk.
